ApoB Coach is a lipidology app that helps patients and clinicians move past calculated LDL-C into the full atherogenic particle picture — including apoB, non-HDL-C, direct LDL-C, Lp(a), and discordance analysis. It's designed by a preventive cardiologist.
Yes. ApoB Coach stores all data exclusively on your device. The app makes zero network requests — no analytics, no telemetry, no cloud sync, no accounts. Your lipid values never leave your phone.
Open the app and navigate to the Lipid Panel tab. Enter your standard panel values (TC, LDL-C, HDL-C, TG) and any advanced markers you have (apoB, Lp(a)). Select your risk category, then tap Analyze to see your results.
No. ApoB Coach is for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. It helps you understand your lipid values, but all treatment decisions should be made with your healthcare provider.
The app supports mg/dL for standard lipid values. For Lp(a), you can toggle between mg/dL and nmol/L with automatic conversion.
After analyzing your lipid panel, tap the Export button on the Analysis tab. This generates a PDF summary that you can share via email, Messages, print, or save to Files using the standard iOS share sheet.
Discordance occurs when different lipid markers disagree about your cardiovascular risk. For example, your LDL-C might be at goal but your apoB could be elevated — meaning you have more atherogenic particles than LDL-C alone suggests. ApoB Coach flags these important patterns.
